Our Teaching Approach

At our gym, every class follows a clear and effective teaching formula to help you learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu step by step. We start by having members drill techniques in a cooperative way—this helps everyone get comfortable with the movements and understand the details. Next, we build “games” or specific scenarios around these techniques, so you can practice them in a more dynamic and playful setting. Finally, we give you time to put everything together in controlled sparring or rolling sessions, where you can apply what you’ve learned in a live but safe environment. This formula ensures that every student progresses with confidence and a solid understanding.




Fundamentals BJJ:

Our Fundamentals class is tailored for beginners and those looking to build a strong foundation. In this class, we focus on key skills like pin escapes—learning how to free yourself from being held down—and guard retention, which is all about using your legs effectively to avoid getting pinned in the first place. This class lays the groundwork for everything else you’ll learn.




All-Levels BJJ:

Our All-Levels class is designed to help members of any experience level sharpen their offensive game. Here, we dive into guard passes—how to get around an opponent’s defenses—and guard attacks, using your own guard as a platform to launch submissions and control. Alongside building your submission knowledge, we always incorporate defense—so as you learn how to apply a submission, you’ll also learn how to escape it. Takedowns:

Our Takedowns class is dedicated to mastering the art of getting your opponent to the ground. We focus on three main actions: pulling them down, tripping them, or throwing them. Whether it’s a gentle pull or a dynamic throw, you’ll learn how to safely and effectively bring someone to the mat. In addition, we train our members in defending against these takedown techniques, so you’ll feel confident both attacking and defending on your feet.




Muay Thai Pads:

Our Pads Class is built for all levels and focuses on sharpening your striking through structured pad work. You’ll learn how to throw clean, powerful combinations—punches, kicks, knees, and elbows—while developing timing, accuracy, and rhythm. Each round emphasizes both offense and defense: as you practice landing strikes, you’ll also train the footwork, guard, and counters. You will build conditioning, coordination, and confidence, ensuring a well-rounded approach to striking for beginners and experienced fighters alike.




Striking Sparring Drills:

This class focuses on applying striking techniques in real combat scenarios. Through drills that emphasize precision, defense, and combinations, you’ll develop sharper fundamentals and tactical awareness. Controlled sparring rounds give you the chance to test timing, distance, and adaptability against live partners. Each session balances intensity with safety, helping you refine your fight IQ and improve execution.
